There are two ways you can go about switching contract months. The first way is to just build a whole new layout and choosing the contract/month that you wish to trade. The second is to follow the instructions below. Log into Xtrader and open your normal workspace. Left click on the menu item labeled "Window" from the main xtrader window to get pulldown menu. Left click on the item labeled "Market Explorer" from the pull down menu. The market explorer window will appear and be ready for you to choose your products. Starting from the upper left of the market explorer window 1 Click on the radio check box labeled "All Products" 2 Click on the "exchange" that you are going to using 3 Click on the "product type" that you will be trading 4 Click on the "product name" that you will be trading 5 Click on the single arrow pointing to the right 6 Click on the button that is now green labeled "Start" You can now close the "Market Explorer" window by click on the X in the upper left hand corner. You should not have the "Market Maker" window open showing you the contracts that you have chosen Left mouse click once on the contract month that you want to trade to highlighten the entire row Left mouse click and HOLD DOWN THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON on the highlightend row Drag the mouse arrow while holding down the left mouse button to the MarketDepthTrader window Drop the arrow onto the MarketDepthTrader window to change the contract month. Save your workspace You should now be able to trade the new contract month.
